Course Overview

Advanced Computerized Accounting will expose individuals to accounting software programs that enhance and simplify traditional manual accounting practices. It will provide training in advanced accounting procedures in QuickBooks and Peachtree (Sage 50) Accounting.

Aims

The aim of this course is to provide the tools to effectively use QuickBooks and Sage 50 Accounting software to manage customers, suppliers and day-to-day finances as easily as possible. It will identify the benefits of managing all the different areas of business from invoicing customers and paying suppliers, to dealing with every aspect of your VAT and accounts.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course students will be able to:

• Perform advanced accounting procedures using Peachtree Accounting.
• Perform accounting procedures using QuickBooks.
