The Early Childcare and Development Programme cover a spectrum of early childcare from birth through five years and includes application for working with parents to enhance their parenting skills and outreach in the community.

History, curriculum, programme application and current trends and issues are examined.
Each course addresses the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviour associated with teaching, supporting, and promoting optimal growth and development of infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, children with special needs and parenting skills.

Aims of the Course

  1. Familiarization with Subject Matter: Candidates will gain a comprehensive understanding of various subjects related to Early Childhood Education.
  2. Creation of Meaningful Learning Experiences: Participants will learn to create enriching and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children aged 3-5 years in their workplace or personal centers.
  3. Practical Application: The course provides numerous opportunities for candidates to apply theoretical concepts in real-world settings through direct interaction with young children and their families in childcare environments.
